ZSphere model using Classic Skinning ZSpheres are an advanced ZBrush tool that permit ‘sketching out’ a 3D model (particularly an organic one) quickly and easily. Once the model has been formed using ZSpheres, it can be ‘skinned’ (a mesh can be created from it) for further sculpting. I wonder what happened on my system? I even did an Init ZBrush and reloaded the Tool but it just won't show. It's probably something really stupid that I am missing. Junk, after you hit Preview under Adaptive Skin you can model and add details that are somehow retained even if you turn off the Preview mode and move your ZSpheres around or add/delete ZSpheres. You can even go up and down Subdivision levels, although if you go down too far your tweaks will disappear. I'm not quite sure the rules yet for how added detail propagates downward, but it's very interesting. As for the resolution of the big ZSphere, I remembered from 1.55b that I'd probably have to tweak the resolution of certain ZSpheres to get them to work right but I couldn't remember where to do that. So in this model everything is the default resolution. I just had to carefully place each ZSphere and go back and forth from Preview a few times, oh and also tweak the membrane and some other settings before it looked ok. But I found it much more forgiving than 1.55 with this. Cheers, Sean.
